Text Reader can immediately open very large files, which cannot be opened by Pocket Word or other editors, for reading. The size of files that the application can open is only limited by your device's main memory.

Text Reader provides a bookmark feature. When you close the application or open another file, a bookmark is automatically saved for the current file. You can set many bookmarks for a file and later to jump to bookmarks back and forth.

Scroll bars are not used by this application for saving space to show more text on a small screen. The user can use the navigation buttons to scroll pages and lines up/down very conveniently. Text Reader supports the full screen mode that provides users more space for reading.

International users can use this application to read text documents in their languages such as Chinese, Japanese, Korean or Russian on English version Pocket PC as long as the language's font file is copied to the directory \Windows\fonts on Pocket PC.

The user can change the font size to bigger or smaller for easy reading. ClearType font is supported as long as your device can display it.

Select and Find functions allow you to select some text and find it in other pages of the file. If your English version Pocket PC does not allow you to type foreign characters such as Chinese, you can select them on the screen. The selected text is automatically copied to the system clipboard. You can paste the text in Pocket Word or Notes.

A specific open file dialog lets you open and read text files in any folder on Pocket PC. If you choose to associate text files with Text Reader when the program is installed, you can start to read a text file by taping the file from the File Explorer. You can still use the standard open file dialog that only shows files in \My Documents and \Storage Card folders by taping File > User Standard File Dialog command.

The application provides a detailed online help for users. The user can open the help anytime by tapping Start > Help.

Free Companion Tool

The ieSaver is a companion tool for Text Reader. It provides extended commands for you to save, view or print specific contents on web pages when you use the Internet Explorer to surf the Internet. It is free for customers who have purchased this product Text Reader for Pocket PC.
