Sprint officially launched Samsung Instict. A great smartphone with some great attributes. As we heard a couple of days ago, this iPhone competitor will sell for $129.99. And it’s not a simple as it looks like.Let’s follow the money trail for a second. First of all you will have to opt in for a two year contract with Sprint. Then you should activate your Everything or Data Share family plan which comes to $69.99 or $129.99 a month. If you’re going for Sprint’s Simply Everything Plan fo $99.99 you will get some extra benefits like GPS navigation, email and web surfing, Sprint Music Premier and Sprint TV Premier.
You will receive an instant $220 discount once you have activated one of these plans and then you’ll have to pay just $229.99. Make sure you take advantage of that $100 mail in rebate. Send it in and wait for the check. That’s how you will get the Instinct for $129.99.
Depending on what plan you choose you’ll end up paying quite a lot of money after 24 months of service. Come to think of it, even if this $130 final price looks a better deal than AT&T’s iPhone, it’s not necessarily so.
