Sometimes simplicity is favored over more complex applications on mobile devices, and the TouchWatch is a perfect example. Offering enhanced stopwatch functionality with added background displays and audio notifications, its a simple program that serves its function perfectly.
The TouchWatch was programs and is easily installed on Windows Mobile 6.0 Pocket PC devices.
As I said the program works easily enough. Here is the simple breakdown: To start a timer you simply tap the screen once, to stop the timer you simply touch the screen again, and to perform a timer reset you just tap and hold the screen.
My favorite part of the freeware application however is the ability to start 4 stopwatches at one time, meaning its great if you want to keep track of such things as per lap track time, or if your timing more than one person.
The application also allows for the background image to be changed easily, and I particularly liked that I could change the audio alarm notification on the unit to suit my own tastes.
