HTC seems hot today, doesn’t it? We’ve talked about the S740 and the upcoming T8290, we’re moving on to some older, but then again not that old, devices from HTC. Both HTC Touch Dual and HTC Touch Cruise are going to get upgraded to Windows Mobile 6.1. I guess some HTC owners are going to feel happier today right?
The update for the Dual and Cruise will work only for unlocked devices. That means that it won’t work unless you have purchased the Dual or Cruise straight from HTC stores.
The Cruise update will fix some Bluetooth issues, onscreen keyboard and title bar problems. Other bugs like camera, GPS, FM and TouchFLO are reported to be resolved too.
Check the links and get your upgrade now if you’re lucky enough to have an HTC device purchased directly from the manufacturer. Otherwise stick with us to find out when your carrier will decide to release the upgrade too!
