The iPhone Dev Team has just released a new Pwnage Tool version that’s ready to deal with Apple’s latest iPhone OS 3.1.3. Pwnage Tool v3.1.5 is available to download for Mac OS X users so go ahead and get it if you have upgraded your iPhone and you want to jailbreak it already.
The good news about the new Pwnage Tool version is that it will preserve the iPhone’s ultrasn0w unlock and jailbroken state while letting you upgrade the device.
The software is to be taken very seriously which basically means that you should know what you’re doing when attempting to jailbreak a device. Backup your data first and make sure you follow the instructions bellow very carefully. While we don’t encourage such activities we’ll also let you know that jailbreaking and/or unlocking can result bricking and/or voiding your warranty so make sure you know how to deal with the Pwnage Tool.
