Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY Available At $0.01 Via Amazon

World’s first PlayStation certified handset, the Xperia PLAY by Sony Ericsson, has registered an attractive price offer and is now available for purchase via Amazon Wireless for only $0.01 upon signing of a contract agreement. Just a few weeks back, the PlayStation smartphone was made available on the airwave of Verizon Wireless in United States sporting a price tag of $599.99.
Launched at the Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona, the Xperia PLAY comes powered with Google’s powerful operating system, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, along with a touchscreen display with a sliding gamepad.
Moreover, the smartphone offers 1GHz application processor complemented by Adreno 205 graphics and a large 4-inch touchscreen display while promised delivery of impressive gaming.
The Xperia PLAY sports a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back with full HD support for video recording as well as a front-facing camera for video calling purpose. It also packs in 3G connectivity with support for Verizon’s CDMA network as well as a built-in WiFi Mobile Hotspot which supports up to five WiFi enabled devices, Bluetooth connectivity and built-in GPS receiver.
