Sony: Tablet S And Tablet P Bound For ICS Update In 2012

Sony is showing itself to be supportive by announcing that it will update the first two tablets from the company to Android 4.0, aka Ice Cream Sandwich. Not only that, but every Xperia named smartphones released in 2011 will also get the update, how awesome is that? Unlike other companies, Sony is not out to force consumers to upgrade to new hardware to get the best of what Android has to offer.
You might be wondering, when will Sony deliver on its promise, sadly we don’t know. Hopefully it won’t be too far into the new year, because by then many would be enticed into buying new hardware instead of waiting on Sony to get things right on the software front before pushing it out. For these very reasons why we prefer the Nexus Android smartphones, nothing holds them back.
