BlackBerry London Leaked, Powered By BBX

BlackBerry fans, it seems your presious little platform is on the verge of making a comeback that could cause problems for other competing platforms. Leaked today, is the BlackBerry London smartphone; this bad boy is powered by BBX, the same OS that powers RIM’s first tablet that went on to flop. From the looks of the phone, it appears RIM is going for a full on 4.3 inch touch screen, however, we could be wrong about the size.

The BlackBerry London is said to be running on a dual core 1.5GHz OMAP processor, 16GB of storage, 8MP camera, 2MP front facing camera for video talking, and 1GB worth of RAM. If the specs turns out to be true, then this would be the first BlackBerry smartphone to be pushing dual core, hopefully the new OS is just as exciting. We also understand that the London release date is set for Q3, 2012. Now, we would love to see RIM get its ass back in the game but how many people are willing to wait for the BlackBerry London right through till Q3 of next year?

Let’s hope RIM knows that it is doing, it wouldn’t be a good thing if another giant falls.
