RIM: BlackBerry App World 3.0 Beta Unveiled For Smartphones

Just a few days back, Canadian handset manufacturer, Research In Motion (RIM) released five new editions for its handset family. With the additions of BlackBerry 7 smartphones, RIM is glad to announce the availability of BlackBerry App World 3.0 Beta. Currently made available only for smartphones, RIM’s app storefront can now be downloaded from the BlackBerry Beta Zone.

Upon questioning, there was no word from the authorities as to why PlayBook users have been left aside but a certain hint did indicate that it may have to do something with the recent delay of Android app compatibility issues.

Moreover, the BlackBerry App World 3.0 Beta rolls in some great new features, a totally revamped version of the user interface, and new sharing options for BlackBerry users.
