AT&T Launching The Acer Iconia Tab On September 18th For $300

On Monday, AT&T announced that it will offer the Acer Iconia Tab, Android Honeycomb tablet on September 18th, 2011. The device is a beauty to look at, and even though it is bigger than the iPad 2 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, we doubt many consumers would be turned off by that.

Those of you in the EU who were planning on picking up one of Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablets…are out of luck, I’m afraid. Yesterday, a German court made the decision to ban sales of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in the European union. The reason? Apparently, its design/GUI are too similar to the iPad’s.
So, I’ve got some….news. The Dell Streak 5 went quietly into that good night. From the looks of things, Dell quietly nixed the tablet at some point in the last few days- no press release or anything. Most of you are probably still trying to figure out what the Streak 5 is, aren’t you?
