Pantech Element Waterproof Android Tablet Showed Up At CES 2012

Many of you probably never heard of Pantech, no worries, you do now. Pantech announced its first ever 4G LTE tablet and CES 2012 recently, it is called the Pantech Element, and will be exclusive to AT&T.

This 8-inch display beauty is a bit unique, it has something we’ve never seen added to a tablet before and for that we applaud Pantech for being the first to do it. The Pantech Element not only sports a neat set of specs, but it also comes with a waterproof contraction for those future tablet owners who loves to get wet, by whatever means. The waterproof build does not steal away the beauty of the device as such be the case with other similar products, and with a 1.5GHz dual core processor inside, this baby is both intelligent and beautiful.

Other specs includes a 5MP camera, 2MP front facing video call camera, 16GB internal storage, a microSD card slot for additional storage, and support for AT&T’s 4G LTE. The pricing for this beast of a tablet is not cheap, it will go for a massive $249 on a 2 year contract, so imagine the unlock cost for this, won’t be pretty.
