Apple has become the 8th most valuable brand in the world according to Interbrand’s Best Global Brands of 2011 report. The Cupertino giant didn’t just climb up the chart, it flew from nine places down to capture the number eight spot, which is seen as impressive by most pundits in the business.
Companies ahead of Apple are Microsoft and Google, they are third and fourth respectively, while Intel sits at number seven above Apple. The top brand in the word for 2011 is still Coco-Cola for those who wanted to know, we can’t wait for the day when a tech related company move up the ladder and take the top spot, what a sight that would be.
