HP Veer 4G Now Available For Pre-Order At Best Buy

What the hell is up with Palm and HP, I don’t see them doing anything substantial to help push the market forward, they just look like bench warmers to me. Anyway, there is a new phone coming from HP called the Veer 4G, it is the newest webOS smartphone with the most recent version of the OS, it looks like crap, yes, I just said that.
With all the heated competition going on between Android, iOS, and Windows Phone 7, you just have to sit back and wonder, what is HP up to? We’ve been hearing about phones and tablets for so long now, but they seem to waiting until webOS only has a single fan, and that would be the CEO, Leo Apotheker. Trying to play the sleeping giant who is going to surprise the world won’t work, Palm tried it, now HP owns Palm, who’s up for buying HP in the next 2 years.

However, let is talk about the device. It is sporting a 2.6 inch display, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 5MP camera, 8GB internal storage, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and AT&T HSPA, which is poor mans 4G. You can pre-order it now at Best Buy for $99 along with a $50 deposit, which will be refunded in the form of a $50 Best Buy gift card, how nice.
