Avatar Look Up, Another Pointless Windows Phone App

Been a long time since I went bat-shit crazy on an application for being a total waste of time, and while I will keep myself mostly reserved on this one, make no mistake, I am pissed. This one is called Avatar Look Up, just the name alone suggest that this app is headed for the gutter.

Alright, so what’s the deal with Avatar Look Up you ask? Well, the developer built this app for the sole purpose of looking up Xbox Live user avatars, checking out their profile along with sending them messages. This might sound cool to some people, but it isn’t and is completely irrelevant because everything Avatar Look Up is capable of can already be done using the built in Xbox Live service on Windows Phone, so WTF is this thing for?

I know that the world loves having a choice, but this is one choice Windows Phone users do not need. But hey, if for some reason I am wrong and you require another application aside from what is available then hit the link below and download this garbage.

    Vamien, please enlighten me and let me know how to look up an avatar that is not on your friends list with the built in app? Do you even own a Windows Phone?

      The question you should be asking, is do you own a Windows Phone. Looking up an Avatar with the built in Xbox Live app is easier than picking your nose. Go to your friends list, tap the + sign button at the bottom which is actually the add button, type in a user’s gamertag, enter and voila, you are looking directly at their Avatar. From there you can choose whether or not you want to add them as a friend.
