Windows 8 Finds A Home On The HTC Shift

Windows 8, bringing new life to old hardware since September, 2011. The hardware that is getting a new lease on life is the HTC Shift, a device that came packed with an 800MHz processor, 1GB RAM, and a sexy looking 7 inch display.

The boys over at the XDA developer forum did the unthinkable, they found a way to get Windows 8 running smoothly on the HTC Shift. While a lot more work is needed before you can show your teeth and brag in front of your friends, things are looking up in the early stages.

There’s a video below showing Windows 8 working like a charm on the HTC Shift, but if you are unable to understand French, you may want to turn down the volume and just feast thine eyes on all things that are sexy.
