Xbox Live Mobile Gaming Headed To Android And iOS?

Here’s something rather interesting that I believe you all should know about. The Xbox Live team sent out a job posting recently, and from what it is saying, there could be an app in the works to bring the full Xbox Live experience to Android and iOS.

We can’t say for sure if this is the move being taken as we are only assuming at this point, but it wouldn’t be such a bad idea. Windows Phone fans might not settle well with such an event if it were to happen, but we strongly believe that Windows Phone has what it takes to survive strongly without having Xbox Live exclusively. There are millions of Xbox gamers out there who do not own a Windows Phone, and probably won’t, so why should Microsoft give them the “f**k you” finger for preferring another smartphone platform?

Little snippet from the job posting:

As a software development engineer on the team, you will have the opportunity to help define and design the experiences for the project, you will get to work with a team of energetic and talented developers, and you will have the luxury to work with all sorts of mobile devices to create the official Xbox LIVE mobile experiences.

As a Windows Phone fanboy and gamer, I would recommend Microsoft to go this route, like it or not.
