Amazon Press Conference Is On, Hands Up For Kindle Android Tablet

Are we about to witness the rise of Amazon’s much rumored Android tablet? We think so. Amazon has been sending out invitations to a press conference set on the date of September 28th, 2011. No one knows what kind of surprises Amazon is preparing, but that Android tablet seems so likely.
It is expected that Amazon’s tablet could carry the Kindle branding, and for good reasons. No point in coming up with something different when the company already has a brand that works and is well known to consumers.
While we won’t be at the event ourselves, we will be covering everything that escapes the conference, so keep an eye out for that.
