Asus MeMo, First 7-inch Android 4.0 Tablet

Asus made a splash at CES with several Transformer tablets, but something else popped up while many weren’t looking, the Asus Eee Pad MeMo 7 was right there secretly making an impression. The MeMO is Asus’s first 7-inch Android tablet, and the first 7-inch tablet to launch with Ice Cream Sandwich.
For a 7-inch tablet, you might think the innards are all bits of spare parts from ancient times, not so with the Eee Pad MeMo. This little demon is packing a Tegra 3 quad core processor, 3D, and stylus support, which can come in handy for those times when you just need to draw without using your fingers. The mention of 3D caught us by surprise, this technology being added to a 7-inch tablet isn’t worth it, however, it is still a decent addition especially if the viewing angles are up to scratch.
No word on a release date, but the pricing is a pretty convincing $249, and we are guessing this is most likely on contract.
