Sony Tablet S Gets A $100 Price Reduction

Nothing is looking well for Sony at the moment. The company’s very own PS Vita gaming system that went on sale in Japan a few weeks ago, and after the first week smokes cleared, the launch was seen as a success, then came the second week bad news. It now appears as if Sony is having similar problems with its first set of Android tablets, and rightly so when you take the price into consideration.
It has been reported that the Sony Tablet S is up for a massive $100 price reduction, this would bring it down to the level of the Apple iPad 2 and the original Asus EEE Pad Transformer. The 16GB version will go for $399, while the 32GB version is set at $499, still too expensive for my taste but the reduction in price is welcomed nonetheless.
Now if only Sony would drop the price of the PS Vita when it launches in the US, that would be something.
