I’m no big fan of the BlackBerry line of smartphones, heck, I’m downright not a fan in every meaning of the word, but if I could get my hands on this particular Berry, I’d be a happy camper.
BlackBerry fans, it seems your presious little platform is on the verge of making a comeback that could cause problems for other competing platforms. Leaked today, is the BlackBerry London smartphone; this bad boy is powered by BBX, the same OS that powers RIM’s first tablet that went on to flop. From the looks of the phone, it appears RIM is going for a full on 4.3 inch touch screen, however, we could be wrong about the size.
RIM is on a downward trend at the moment, for every device they shove through the gates all turned to meaningless piece of plastic, but when will they learn that more power is not the answer for this specific problem. Here we see the BlackBerry 9900, packed with the same dull operating system with a dual core CPU and a 5MP camera.
Rejoice BlackBerry Playbook fans, the official Facebook application is forthcoming, it should make its way to your Playbook before the end of this month, are you yet excited over this, or it really doesn’t matter one bit. (more…)
