Rumor: Amazon Planning To Enter The Realm Of Windows Phone

Surprise, surprise, the rumor mill is hot and bothered today with chit chatter about Amazon entering the smartphone field with a Windows Phone device; say what now? This piece of info is difficult to believe, I mean, from what we have seen from Amazon with its upcoming tablet, the company seems to prefer customizing the hell out of an OS instead of releasing something with all the default features.

Ubuntu Finally Making Its Way To Smartphones And Tablets

We were wondering when this was going to happen, and now we have a solid idea. Ubuntu, one of the popular Linux desktop operating systems that nobody uses, is expected to make its way officially to smartphones and tablets by 2014, that’s bloody 3yrs away. Still as we all know, Ubuntu has always been the OS that mimics and plays catch up to the big boys, hence why it will never step out of that niche market.

Video: iPhone 4S Hands On From China With Love

The Apple iPhone 4S is doing pretty well for itself, already surpassing over 1 million pre-orders. Anyway, a video of the device escaped over the great wall of China with some Benchmark goodies, and something new regarding “Siri”. The little over a minute video with no sound, shows what the A5 dual core processor is capable of, along with the GPU which is said to be 7x faster than the one found in the iPhone 4.

Dell Ditched All Plans For Another Windows Phone Handset

Sad news for Microsoft and Windows Phone. We are hearing that Dell have abolished all plans for releasing Windows Phone 7.5 Mango devices, and would therefore focus on future handsets running the next version of Windows Phone, called Apollo. This doesn’t seem to be a Windows Phone issue, however. Our investigation shows that Dell plans to decrease its line of Android devices, which kind of proves that there are some internal problems going on that we do not yet know about.

Sprint’s Supposedly Exclusive iPhone 5 Deal With Apple Is The Best Move Yet By The Company

Yeah, that’s right, it appears Sprint just went all in and pull all bets on the iPhone 5, how would such a move turn out is currently unknown, but we are free to speculate. At the moment, the Sprint iPhone 5 thing is just a rumor, despite the story coming from the ever reliable Wall Street Journal. Since tomorrow is the day Apple talks all things iPhone, this 20 Billion Sprint deal might or might not surface.
