Been a long time since I went bat-shit crazy on an application for being a total waste of time, and while I will keep myself mostly reserved on this one, make no mistake, I am pissed. This one is called Avatar Look Up, just the name alone suggest that this app is headed for the gutter.
If it’s an app about sex, be sure that I’m going to be on it faster than a dog humping your leg. This Windows Phone sex related application is nothing special, it is basically drags information from the internet via RSS for your education. The app is called Sex Health, and well, you might learn a few positions from it to spice up your boring sex life.
If you need detailed directions in the US, Canada, and Europe on your Windows Phone, then HopStop is the perfect application to get the job done, and for free. The app is relatively new to the Windows Phone Marketplace, but already it is getting very good reviews from its users, and that is a very good sign of things to come in future updates.
I’ve been doing a lot of tweeting lately, and instead of using the built in Twitter client in my Samsung Focus Windows Phone handset, I optioned for something a little better, MoTweets. MoTweets, in my honest opinion is the best Twitter application on Windows Phone, and believe me when I say I’ve tried them all.
Celebrate fellow Windows Phone users, tis the month to be happy because free stuff is being given away. There’s a game on the Windows Phone platform called Orb, usually, it would be a premium title but not today. Orb is being offered for free until Santa knows when, so you should get going before the developers re-attach the price.
Regular we come across some strange applications in the Windows Phone Marketplace, this latest is no different. The app is called Grow Taller, apparently if you follow whatever information this app is selling, you could increase your age and it doesn’t matter how old you are.
If you are a gamer like us, then you might like this one application we are about to talk about. The app is called GameTrailers, and no, it is not the official GameTrailer app, this little thing just allows you to view all the latest information from the GameTrailers website.
There’s anew game for Windows Phone called Kingdom, it is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) that we hope is actually fun to play. We can’t say we’ve had any good experiences with MMO’s for mobile devices over the past couple years, so we are not holding our breath until Kingdom is under our thumbs.
One of the top applications for the iPhone and iPad will be available for free today; the folks who enjoy accessing files on their home computer from anywhere are going to go crazy for this. LogMeIn, an app that can be found on Android, iOS, and Windows computers, is now free to use on your iDevice.
The official SkyDrive application for Windows Phone is here, and from my days of using this thing I have to say that I am impressed, and a little disappointed all at the same time. The app is pretty smooth when navigating around, the only time I came across any form of jittering is when the app is loading document and picture thumbnails, and to me that is understandable and not a deal breaker.
