2012 is the year of quad core superphones, and battery life that goes out in 2hrs after a full charge. LG is currently planning to upstage Samsung and HTC to become the first manufacturer to release a smartphone with a quad core processor inside, this phone is known as the LG X3.
Microsoft is playing dirty and it seems to be working out just fine. The latest victim in Microsoft ongoing onslaught against Android is LG, the company agreed to a patent deal with the big bad boss from Redmond for Chrome OS and Android. With LG falling by the wayside, who else is left?
We’ve been longing to see what Intel can offer the smartphone market in terms of x86 dual core chipsets, now, it appears our prayers will soon be answered. The Korea Times is reporting today that the first Intel Medfield based Android smartphone will be unveiled by LG at CES 2012 in January, with a launch date set for March of the same year.
Lookie here folks, another Windows Phone handset has been leaked and this time, it is LG branded. The device which is said to be called the LG Fantasy looks pretty decent with it supposed 4-inch ISP display, but nothing much can be told from its pose for Mr. blurrycam.
Returning from the grave is the LG Prada, the line of phones that were once thought to be dead, never to return due to the all mighty iPhone. With Samsung out of the picture, LG seems to be the one that will be manufacturing displays for the iPhone 5 and future versions of the iPad. What caught our eyes, however, is the talks about an iPad devices with a 7.35 display; if it is real, then by all means Apple might just be ready to stretch its legs a little bit. South Korean electronic giant, LG, announced on the availability of its 3D smartphone tagged as Optimus 3D in the UK via wireless carrier Orange UK. Even though, its a bit late for the carrier, we always say, “better late than never”. The carrier flashed the LG Optimus 3D as “Coming Soon” on its webpage.
