Microsoft Exec: Dual Core CPUs And 4G LTE In The Pipeline For Windows Phone

Splendid news for all Windows Phone users along with those on the fence. Dual core chipsets and 4G LTE is in the pipeline for the platform, but will not blend in until performance and battery life issues have been ironed out. This was confirmed by Andy Lee, Microsoft’s smartphone chief, so hopefully all this good news won’t take too long to become reality.

Sprint’s Supposedly Exclusive iPhone 5 Deal With Apple Is The Best Move Yet By The Company

Yeah, that’s right, it appears Sprint just went all in and pull all bets on the iPhone 5, how would such a move turn out is currently unknown, but we are free to speculate. At the moment, the Sprint iPhone 5 thing is just a rumor, despite the story coming from the ever reliable Wall Street Journal. Since tomorrow is the day Apple talks all things iPhone, this 20 Billion Sprint deal might or might not surface.

HTC Puccini Clears The FCC With Eyes Set On AT&T

Finally, the rumored HTC Puccini tablet with Android inside cleared the FCC today and is gearing up for an AT&T launch this year. The tablet that is said to be sporting a 1.5GHz dual core processor could also bring to the table support for AT&T’s 4G LTE, this would surely set the Puccini as one of the must have tablets this holiday season.

Verizon HTC Thunderbolt Update Is Live

That sexy Verizon HTC Thunderbolt is a 4G LTE beast, but it is not without problems which haunt owners for quite some time. Gladly, Verizon began pushing out updates to the Thunderbolt owners last week that promises to fix several issues along with removing free mobile hotspot. (bummer)

Verizon Prepping A Motorola XOOM LTE 4G Tablet?

Thought the Motorola XOOM was dead? Well think again little man. The new version of the Motorola XOOM which is headed for Verizon Wireless is packing 4G LTE speeds on the  inside along with Android 3.1 (Honeycomb) at the helm. If you remember correctly, the original XOOM is capable of kicking 4G LTE speeds, however, the feature was disabled, but can be enabled if brought to a Verizon store when the date comes around. New HTC Thunderbolt Patch On The Way

More problems for the HTC Thunderbolt, but worry not young warrior, a fix is on the way via an update which should set everything straight again. The problem that is transpiring, came about when HTC released an update a few weeks back, due to this update, many HTC Thunderbolt owners are experiencing random reboots.
