Developers Are Warming Up To Windows Phone

It would seem that the Nokia Microsoft joining is paying off, as developers are showing increase interest in the Windows Phone platform, mainly thanks to the Finnish giant. According to a survey from the IDC, 38% of developers spoken to are interested in Windows Phone; this comes at the expense of BlackBerry, Symbian, and MeeGo. With this new found interest in the platform, Windows Phone might just be on the horizon on becoming the 3rd ecosystem.

With the Nokia Lumia 710 and 800 around the corner, expect more developers to come onboard, especially Nokia loyalists who are looking for a new home due to the imminent death of Symbian.
