NVIDIA: Windows Phone 7 Apps Will Work On Windows 8

Here is something many of you and myself will enjoy. According to Jen Hsung Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, Windows 8 tablets will be able to run Windows Phone 7 applications no problem. If this has any truth to it, then it could considerably bolster Microsoft efforts in competing with Google and Apple in the tablet department.

Since Jen Hsung Huang announcement, Microsoft failed to respond, so at the moment we are not sure if some form of misunderstanding is going on or if Mr Huang made a huge blunder in revealing secrets. We here at MTS would love for Windows 8 to run Windows Phone 7 and 8 applications, it would be easier for folks using Windows Phone to migrate to a Windows based tablet since they can have access to their favorite applications.

Additionally, this could help ARM compete a lot more efficiently with Intel than before, so we damn well hope Microsoft doesn’t fuck this up and do the complete opposite of what it is supposed to do.

So, when can we get our hands on one of these Windows 8 tablets? We sure hope 2012 is the year when Microsoft brings the fight to Apple and Google, because some serious ass kicking needs to be done, pronto.
