ZTE Pays Microsoft $27 Per Windows Phone Device

We always wonder how much manufactures pay to use Windows Phone, well, now we know. ZTE UK is reporting that it is required to pay Microsoft $27 per handset, a lot more than the fee some manufactures have to pay in the Microsoft patent deal against Android.

The first ZTE branded Windows Phone is called the Tania, and is set to go on sale in the UK pretty soon. What we want to know, is, how much Nokia is paying under the partnership that began early in 2011.
