There is new device from HTC which according to the rumors will hit the market in 2007. It is called HTC Athena and if the specs it is supposed to has are true, it will probably become uber device.
As we learn by Arne Hess from theunwired.net the device is bit larger than the HTC Universal and more square, also it's quite heavier than the Universal, but about the same thickness. HTC Athena has a detachable keyboard which is partly made from clear plastic so when it works as a cover of the HTC Athena, you can still see basic information on the main screen like signal power or battery. When keyboard works as a stand, the device stands on it (it's communicating by the connector on the keyboard and connecting 'pads' on the side of the Athena when it stands on the keyboard and is kept together by strong magnets). HTC Athena has 5 inch VGA 640x480 screen.

I got one, it's a really great machine (especially the VGA out which I've used to make PPT presentations within 3 days of the machine being out of the box. Main complaint: the classic need to "soft reset" the machine on a 2-3x per day basis to "unfreeze" the device.
