Dopod C500 Windows Mobile 6 Standard Smartphone Launched And here is the other Windows Mobile 6 Standard Smartphone launched today by Dopod - Dopod C500. It is announced togheter with the Dopod C730 Smartphone and is widely known as also known as HTC Vox and Orange SPV E650.

Dopod C500 is a smartphone with breathtaking design and impressive functions. It features 12-numeric keypad and a semi-auto sliding QWERTY keyboard, which not only allows you to key in messages with minimal effort but also fits your style and preferences. C500 runs on all quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE and has WiFi b/g and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity options. It only lacks UMTS or even HSDPA.

It features Windows Live Messenger and note that device's semi-auto sliding QWERTY keyboard enhances Windows Live messaging and makes the experience so much more enjoyable.

With the latest Windows Mobile 6 platform and Microsoft Office Mobile, you can truly enjoy all the benefits that come with having your own mobile office. The powerful features mean that information and documents you require are always available at your fingertips. The C500 allows users to both view and edit familiar Word and Excel documents as well as the ability to view PowerPoint and Adobe PDF documents. This stylish device also has a Quick Notes function that supports different font sizes to make viewing easier. Additionally, for the first time, users can access corporate files stored on a Microsoft SharePoint Server directly and easily from the C500.

The Dopod C500 is equipped with a Talking Dictionary, which has over 60,000 words from Chinese to English and English to Chinese. But the most beautiful part is that you are guided through the proper pronunciation by an almost human-like voice. Dopod C500 will be available in Singapore from mid May 2007 at a suggested retail price of S$ 748/US$ 493/360 Euro.

Great design, what I have been looking for, but when will the touch screen version (Professional version)be available. For some the touch screen is handier than the sliding keyboard. I could live with that on screen keyboard using the pen.

I bought dopod C 500. When I tried to copy my simcard to phone I do not have any option to copy it. But I get copy phone to sim. How should I copy my simcard to phone for all contacts?
