Samsung mobile has just released an Windows Mobile 6 Standard edition upgrade for their great smartphone Samsung i600. The new operation system version gives the device new face and usability options. You can find the upgrade files here

Samsung i600 WORKS WELL :calling, messaging excellent quality with skype for smartphones. After upgraded from windows mobile 5 to wm 6. If you have prolems with updating from wm5 to wm6 or your skype desn't work, freezes or doesn't sart. Write to jaro@jocompany.com will help! www.jocompany.com
where do i find the upgrade in English? I am in South Africa but there is no option on the website for SA or any other English speaking country?

I'm also from south africa and find it somewhat ridiculous that the upgrade isn't available in english......I'm very sure more than half of there i600 owners/market is engelish speaking????

I tried to upgrade my i600 and it wont take my software version number. It also says incorrect software version.. Any one can help..
i upgraded my SAMSUNG SGH-i600 with a wrong update and became dead now. Even USB port is locked now. Later, i found the right upgrade file but no use. Anybody can suggest?
Again another South African here, I must agree, really bloody irritating that there's no WM6 Crossbow Update that comes in English, this can't be right?! Someone email this thread to Samsung... I also tried the 'update' thing on the Samsung website and wouldn't take my version number either... Hello! I resofted my Samsung I600 with Windows Mobile 6 operating system. After first charging I saw that the battery (extended version) is discharging in 24 hours. It is normally? This happens because of Windows Mobile 6? I need a response becasuse I want to know what I'll do with my phone. Thx
