HTC has recently released the HTC Touch Cruise, which has more memory, fast processor, WiFi, 3.5G (HSDPA and video calling included) and even built-in GPS. And today its first review is online thanks to the Gears from coolsmartphone site.
I took this device on a day out. We decided to go to the local safari park and, I'll be honest, I had no way of knowing how to get there. I turned on the Tom Cruise (now that sounds weird) and punched in the postcode. It located me, directed me all the way and I received some emails during the journey. The combination of the wheel plus the HTC TouchFLO system makes one-handed or even one-finger operation so simple and easy - it really is the wheel reinvented. An email pops up, I click the action button, scroll the wheel around to select a mail from the list, click again and then I use the TouchFLO system to quickly hop into Internet Explorer to see what time the safari park is open until. Even better, when I get there I can take fairly brilliant photos with the 3 megapixel camera and then I can make a video call to a member of my family and say, "Look at this elephant! Woow!"
The device we tested is network free, so you can pick whatever SIM card or network you fancy and get going without any problems. Yes, obviously there's no keyboard, but there is WiFi, 3G, quad-band connectivity, video calling, GPS, microSD storage and you get a smooth experience thanks to the 400Mhz CPU. This isn't just a navigation tool, this is a capable, well designed and well thought-out device which takes the success of the HTC Artemis to the next level.

good
HTC Touch Cruise is doing the ground breaking sale in north america....
it has no video driver! This makes multi-media software very slow. So 10.000 people has signed a petition to get that video driver. For more info, see http://www.htcclassaction.org/
whats it like to txt and write e mails. and out of these to phones what one do you think is the best and why? SE W9690i or HTC Cruise.
o.k. to email and sms, very fast device, good size and weight, good screen, and many win mobile softwares available. and if you have HSDPA like o2 uk in some places you are going to love this device, but you might want to take it easy with all that functionality best advise is when in the car always keep it chargeing as you will need it, because there is lot to do when you have some spare time with your new. toy. for people who are new to winmobile phone/pda and have a winmobile and dont like them much i must say you must go and search the web for software that you have intrests in not just the top 10. for a better experiance just download install test/try then buy the software.
the post above is all about the htc touch cruise not the SE W960i which is also a good music player/phone but nothing compared with what you can achive on the HTC cruise which is a smart phone/pda/navigation/video/emial/music player etc.etc.
