Motorola is trying to keep up with everyone out there in the cell phone manufacturing business. Their new MOTO Q 9c has just been released, through Verizon Wireless. It’s meant to serve both your personal and business life with success. Is it as good as the Nokia E71? Can it be compared to the BlackBerry Curve 8330? What about the future Palm smart phones, the Zepelin and the Skywriter?
I always thought comparing phones is always a little bit subjective. If I was to compare a Nokia and a Motorola I’d end up telling you how Nokia is slightly (if not a whole lot) better then the Motorola, just because I like Nokia more.
The Motorola MOTO Q 9c looks good and promises a lot. It will be powered up by a Windows Mobile 6.0 with a close upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.1. This slick phone packs a Qualcomm MSM 6500 and Intel Bulverde processor with an internal memory of 128MB/64MB RAM upgradable via miniSD cards. There’s Bluetooth and 3G support via EVDO and standard wireless CDMA connection. Unfortunately there’s no WiFi.
If you are going to choose this model and you are typing lots of documents and e-mails you should also know it comes with Microsoft Office Mobile and Microsoft Outlook Mobile. Add a 1.3 megapixel camera/video recorder with flash and 6x digital zoom and the full QWERTY keyboard and we have ourselves a phone!
