If you are a huge YouTube fan and can’t go a minute without it, not even when you’re browsing the internet on your cell phone, then you should know CoreCodec has developed version 1.24 of their CorePlayer Mobile for Symbinan S60 3rd Edition and UIQ 3 mobiles. FLV videos will be played directly on UIQ 3 smart phones without prior conversion. YouTube support is said to work both on 3G and WiFi connection, and the only downside for now seems to be the lack of support for playing YouTube videos through the internet browser.

As YouTube video integration was long discussed and waited for, Dan Marlin, CEO of CoreCodec, says: “In future versions we are adding full YT support that includes video uploading, account login, related, more, email link, bookmarks. So this is really just the beginning of what our ‘Channels’ page will be…. Channels will list our current ‘HOT’ websites (like Veoh)” Via Allaboutsymbian
