Windows Mobile 7 Smart Phone? Is that true? Who, where, what?

Apparently O2 Asia or MWg, how they like to be called right now, are preparing a Windows Mobile 7 powered smart phone to be rolled out in the last quarter of 2008. It has a name, Flame II.

Flame II it’s supposed to be a 3.5″ touchscreen display smart phone with advanced multimedia features, 3.2 megapixel camera and integrated GPS. This announcement is about a year earlier than supposed to actually happen. Is Windows Mobile 7 almost ready to be released? Sure we’re at the middle of 2008 but if they are releasing this baby in 3-6 months they must have something going already right? Check out the picture for more upcoming releases from MWg. Or this is just a rumor for us to talk about something else besides the BlackBerry 9000 Bold today?
