May 12 Microsoft Windows Live available for BlackBerry

Microsoft Strikes a Deal with RIM And I have more RIM related news today. Are they trying to get in the news as fast and as often as the iPhone does these weeks? They have just released the BlackBerry Bold which we summarized earlier and they have started the $150 million developers fund or however they’re calling it. They are moving fast and I am personally glad they are doing so. Competition will lead to better improvement and we, as customers, should benefit from it.

Today they have also announced cooperation with Microsoft. According to this agreement they are going to have Microsoft Widows Live services on BlackBerry smartphones. RIM customers will finally have access to Windows Live Messenger and will be able to integrate Windows Live Hotmail into the BlackBerry platform. Wow Microsoft was fast. RIM has just announced a developers fund and Microsoft was right there with this agreement. That’s what I like to call good timing!
