Today seems to be an all about Nokia news day. I'll have to admit Nokia is my favorite cell phone manufacturer (not counting Apple) but whenever reporting handset, software and carrier news I bring balance to the force. Not today though. And lets see what happens with the Ns today.
.
First of all the Nokia N96 went on presale for a whooping 700 sterling pounds. That's almost $1400. Wow. I mean sure it's a good phone but buying it for that price now? What do you think?
And if you are thinking about sticking with the old N73 phone, then you are right to do so. Why? Well there's a new firmware update available, version v4.0812.4.x which was released via the Nokia Software Update yesterday. There's support for mobile TV (when used with Nokia's SU-33W receiver), Express Mail clients, updates and improvements to Nokia Maps and better Java support. Don't just stand there, get the update already!
