What are your carrier's early termination fees? Did you carefully read the fine prints? Remember how Verizon got spanked in court and had to pay $1 billion?
Well AT&T and other carriers don't want to face the same verdict so starting this week they are going to gradually reduce their early termination fees. Let's look at how things worked in the past (last week). If you had a 2 year contract with AT&T and decided to cancel it after 2 or 18 months you would still have had to pay a $175 cancellation fee. Talk about unfair business huh?
Starting this week, AT&T are to introduce a new deal on those termination fees. You will get $5 off for every completed subscription month. Cancel after 2 months and pay just $165. Cancel after 18 and pay $85. Better but not perfect. Cancel after 23 months and pay $60.
Way to go AT&T! If you don't change it by tomorrow that is
