Sprint has decided to reduce their unlimited data plans to only 5GB a month and an extra 300MB while roaming in other networks. Why, oh but why? Instead of keeping data plans unlimited which would make them unique for that service they chose to handle it like other carriers.
Spring says the new limit will only affect about 0.5% of current subscribers. Furthermore the 5GB limit will apply only to individual accounts and not to corporate, business or government accounts. The limit also apply to data cards and phone as modem plans and not to the Simply Unlimited plan.
Too many exceptions but we have more. If you go over the limit make sure you do so only in 2 out of 3 consecutive months or your plan might be canceled. Starting June 8th you will have a monitor tool which will tell you how much you have until you have reached your quota.
