The Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 is one of the most anticipated Pocket PC devices of 2008. Featuring Quad-Band GSM Connectivity, Windows Mobile 6.1, a 3.0 inch screen with 800 x 480 colors of resolution on a touchscreen and 3G internet access the device appears to be a pocket pc to be reckoned with, and now Sony has added a few upgrade to the already drool inspiring device.
First, Sony has added what they are calling the Xperia Panel key and they have also added some Xperia branding below the screen. The specifics on the Xperia Panel have yet to be released, it could be a Today screen type of offering that HTC touts on their own devices, or something completely new, only time will tell.
But the most awe inspiring is the release of a second color: Steel Grey, a nice offset to the standard black color of the Xperia X1 that has been touted for the last several months.
No solid release date has been given for the device at this time.
