Qualcomm wants to go strong in the mobile world. They apparently plan to develop a handset which would be using the Windows Mobile 7 OS. And bare in mind that there are so many smartphones out there that haven't even come close to upgrading to version 6.1 of Microsoft's Windows Mobile OS.
The cited handset will possibly be powered up by a Snapdragon mobile CPU and it will be announced anytime during the CES 2009. We are to expect 3G and fast internet connection availability and a price as low as $299. We are also to expect a friendlier operating system which will offer you a laptop-like experience when using it. You'd better make sure your country supports Qualcomm processors or you will be buying it from overseas.
But what am I saying here. 2009 is far away and things might change until then. I'd be curios what the first Windows Mobile 7 gadget is going to be like.
