Jun 04 AT&T 3G Data, From 20% to 50% Faster
Found in:AT&T, 3G, Mobile News,
AT&T will finish deploying their HSDPA by the end of June when they will be the first network to offer full HSPA service in the USA. More than 100 new areas will be added by the end of the year which means AT&T will total more than 350 markets for their high speed 3G.
And since AT&T has announced their intentions to drastically improve their 3G speeds in the years to come, they have started to deliver them. By the end of June, data plans subscribers from AT&T will be happy to see a 20% download speed and a 50% upload speed increase. That means you will be able to surf faster, download movies and files with a speed of up to 1.7Mbps and upload them with a speed of up to 1.2Mbps. With all this data speed increase going on, I wouldn’t be surprised to see other carriers joining in the ride.
