ExtGPS for Symbian S60 Operating System

I've been on a constant hunt for new Symbian software for my Nokia N95, and I finally found a very useful GPS application in the ExtGPS freeware program, a newer program that offers an exciting new way to sync you Nokia GPS capabilities to your laptop.

The Symarctic ExtGPS program works by allowing your Nokia N95, Nokia E90, and Nokia 6110 Navigators built-in GPS modules to connect to your laptop via the phones Bluetooth connection and your laptops built in bluetooth or bluetooth enabled dongle.

The connection between my laptop and my Nokia 95 showed no lag in transfer time, giving real time updates on my location via the Nokia application directly to my laptop. I was also impressed that the application allows the units to use the more sophisticated GIS applications.

The ExtGPS software is free to use for non-commercial purposes and offers some of the best bluetooth connectivity for its purpose on the market. Symarctic ExtGPS allows you to sync your phone's built-in GPS module to laptop via Bluetooth. It is mainly targeted for Nokia N95, E90, 6110 Navigator handsets, allowing you to use existing, more sophisticated GIS applications. Free for personal, non-commercial use.
