T-Mobile USA is suing Starbucks Coffee over the transition of the T-Mobile Hotspot service which is being taken over by wireless telecom giant AT&T Wireless.
T-Mobile claims in their papers filed for the lawsuit that an agreement was put into place which would allot T-Mobile to continue their hotspot service in Starbucks locations that had not yet fully been converted to the AT&T Service.
Instead T-Mobile is claiming that Starbucks locked the cellular company out of their locations by giving full access to the hotspot network created by T-Mobile to AT&T customers.
By converting their locations to the new AT&T wireless WiFi service prematurely T-Mobile is claiming the coffee chain and AT&T are benefiting from the use of the T-Mobile WiFi infrastructure when only two markets in the United States have yet to be converted fully to the AT&T WiFi network within the coffee chains stores.
