With the new 3G iPhone announced today it was only a matter of time before AT&T announced new data rate plans for iPhone 3G device users, and in a quick turn around the new pricing was released just hours after Apple announced the new 3G iPhone.
The new pricing for 3G iPhone users will begin on July 11th 2008 and will cost $30 per month for unlimited data usage, a cost of $10 per month higher than the current $20 unlimited data plan offers to AT&T iPhone users.
AT&T Wireless has also announced that business users who tend to use higher data transfer rates will be charged at a rate of $45 per month.
The higher prices according to AT&T is attributed to the faster speeds of the 3G network which can easily exceed 5 times the speeds of the current Edge network which AT&T customer currently connect to.
