Skype v2.2.0.44 Released for Windows Mobile Phones

Skype is my favorite VoIP program. They have smart communication solutions for your PCs and smartphones. Version 2.2.0.44 has been released for all Windows Mobile Smartphones.

Using Skype is really so simple and I guess everyone of us have had at least one Skype conversation so far. If you want to use it on your phone to make longer and almost free calls, then you need to change/upgrade your current phone to a Windows Mobile phone. And since you might change your phone, make sure you get a 3G phone with WiFi support if you don’t mind. You need good speed to successfully make Skype calls.You will need at least 12MB of memory space on it to install it or 6MB if you are installing it from a memory card.

I said almost free calls as you will be charged for data usage so maybe an upgrade to an unlimited data plan is also required. No matter how you talk to your friends and family you are still paying for it. There’s no exactly free calling. Whether is the unlimited data plan or the regular calls charges, the carriers will still squeeze some money out of you.
