It's video day today here at MobileTopSoft and here we have a video of the upcoming BlackBerry Javelin. Although it's supposed to hit the streets in mid 2009, this video made it's appearance on YouTube 2 days ago. And the description of this phone is quite clear "non working prototype". I guess it wouldn't work yet. RIM has still a lot to work with.

What throws me immediately of the Javelin is the lack of 3G. Is this what they are working on? Removing 3G from the Bold and start calling it Javelin? Who came up with this "bright" idea? I'd fire him via SMS!

The 3Gless Javelin is supposed to have WiFi, GPS, an expansive display, and a 3.2 megapixel camera. Seriously now, why take 3G out? Oh I get it, RIM is going to make it 4G ready?

Would you buy this good looking, but lacking in features smartphone?
