My Mobiler Windows Mobile Pocket PC devices are great when you need functionality on the go, unfortunately pulling your saved information off your device when you're sitting at your desk isn't as convenient as the laptop or desktop you have right in front of you. Thankfully, My Mobiler v1.23 changes your pocket pc device into a unit that can be browsed directly from your desktop interface, using your computers keyboard and mouse, while creating integrated functionality between all of your office or home pc components.

Installing My Mobiler v1.23 was a breeze after clicking the install program I was ready to play with my new browsing functions.

The My Mobiler program allowed me to use many of the most popular PC functions, such as using my keyboard and mouse to browse around the Windows Mobile 6.0 interface, although I should mention that the program also works with Windows Mobile 2003 and Windows Mobile 5.

Using the keyboard I found the Copy and Paste functions to work well, I was able to transfer files around my device and between my device and desktop with ease.

I could also use the screen capture mode, as a test of this I captured the mobile interface screen and pasted it into a word file on both the device and on my MS Word application on my computer, a very cool and convenient feature to have.

Dragging files to my device was also as easy as a drag and drop command on the pc, adding a new type of "active sync" functionality to the unit, considering the program can use ActiveSync and IP connection it wasn't that much of a surprise, but regardless it was nice to have.

Finally I used the Open file command on my device, all you have to do is double click the application like you would on your desktop and you're ready to go.

Essentially this application is perfect if you need easy access to your files but would prefer to use a much easier Mouse and Keyboard navigation routine, and if you want to integrate your components to give them a one touch streamlined feel.
