Pocket Chess Champion 1.0

Chess must be the Godfather of all mind games ever. If you can master some of its secrets you will surely succeed in any other game. Not that this means you don’t have a chance of succeeding in those games without any chess experience.

Pocket Chess Champion 1.0 is a Pocket PC game which will suit both amateur and professional chess players. Simply install it and play it whenever on the go when an actual board and partner aren’t available for a quick game.

You will need Windows Mobile 2003 or 2005 with at least a 200 MHz CPU frequency and at least 30Mb of available storage memory. When you have all that, simply install Pocket Chess Champion and start playing. You have various game modes and options. You can play with any time control and you can record your played games for analyzing them later on your PC. You can play full games and set up specific positions for scenario game play. As for viewing the game you can opt in for full view or add in a notation screen and a detailed analysis screen.

This game doesn’t come for free unfortunately. It’s $19.95, but if you think about all the options it has, it’s worth it.
