AT&T to Deliver Samsung Omnia in Q3 2008
The Samsung Instinct, a great smartphone, sold like hot cakes from Sprint for the past weeks. I would expect the Omnia, which seems a lot better to perform at least as good. The advantage of the Instinct was the release date. Appearing almost a month before the iPhone, the Instinct made quite an impression with its features and great price. The Omnia is rumored to be delivered by AT&T sometime later this year, in Q3 2008. By that time the iPhone shopping spree will surely end and the Thunder from RIM will emerge. I wonder if the Omnia, although better than the Instinct, will have as much success.

Let me remind you why the Omnia has a real chance of defeating the iPhone. It's a Samsung smartphone which features:

- 3.2-inch touchscreen,
- 12.5 inch thickness,
- 5 megapixel camera with face-detection and geo tagging,
- quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900Mhz),
- HSDPA (7.2Mbps),
- GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0,
- FM radio with RDS,
- Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional.

And it will arrive in two versions: 8GB and 16GB. Now we only need official release dates and prices.
