Surprisingly Sprint has gone on to sell the Palm Treo 800w without any proper announcements. Palm hasn't announced anything official too which is weird. Apparently Sprint stores have been selling the Treo 800w on an unofficial level, whatever that means.
It has been confirmed that this Palm smartphone will carry GPS, WiFi and EVDO Rev. A. The 800w will have a 320x320 screen, a 2 megapixels camera and a full QWERTY keyboard. All that packed inside a thinner design.
Since this handset is selling unofficially, here are the unofficial prices. If you opt in for a two year contract, the Palm Treo 800w costs only $350 after rebate. Without the contract, you will get the 800w for $600.
If that's Sprint strategy of selling a phone, overpriced and unofficial, then I must say they won't be able to fight off competitors.
